This is a premium cotton red dhoti and uparana (khes) set. A complete 2-piece traditional Indian men's wear combination. Crafted from fine, lightweight cotton. The fabric is soft yet firm, holding a clean crisp pleat through long pooja sessions, festivals, or temple visits.
The base fabric is woven in a bold crimson red — a colour deeply rooted in Indian tradition and auspiciousness. It is naturally breathable and skin-friendly, staying cool and comfortable even during long hours of wear.
The border is a traditional woven self-border — crafted entirely on the loom using multicolour cotton threads. There is no zari, no kasab, no embroidery, and no printing involved — pure loom craft throughout.
The border features six distinct woven rows — a white thread stripe, a rope-twist wave motif, a mustard-gold horizontal stripe, a floral snowflake rosette row in white, an olive-green accent separator, and a small geometric repeat at the hem. Each row is woven in perfect symmetry.

Washing Instructions
Washing Instructions for Cotton Dhoti
- Separate your cotton dhoti from other garments before washing. Use cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Hand wash gently or use the delicate cycle on your washing machine. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals as they may damage the fabric and fade the colors.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all soap residue is removed. Do not wring or twist the fabric harshly. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water.
After Use and Drying
- After wearing, hang your dhoti in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods as it may cause fading. Do not use a dryer as high heat can damage the cotton fibers and shrink the garment.
Ironing Instructions
- Iron your cotton dhoti while it is still slightly damp for best results. Use a medium heat setting on your iron.
