Traditional White Cotton Dhoti (10 × 6) Set with Blue Line Border & Rich Multicolour Border & Khes
This dhoti set plays with contrast instead of complexity.
At the top, you see a soft blue border with fine lines—simple, quiet, and clean. But as the eye moves down, the look changes. The lower border becomes richer and more detailed, filled with layered patterns in green, gold, purple, and pink.
Instead of one single design, it brings together different pattern bands—some floral, some geometric, some inspired by temple shapes. Each strip adds depth without making the dhoti look heavy.
The uparana (khes) follows a stronger design approach, with dense woven work and deeper colors, giving the full outfit a more complete and dressed-up feel.
Because the fabric is cotton, the outfit remains easy to wear even with its detailed borders. It doesn’t feel bulky, making it suitable for long hours.
This set is ideal for someone who wants a mix of simple and rich in the same outfit—not fully plain, not overly decorated.

Washing Instructions
Washing Instructions for Cotton Dhoti
- Separate your cotton dhoti from other garments before washing. Use cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Hand wash gently or use the delicate cycle on your washing machine. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals as they may damage the fabric and fade the colors.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all soap residue is removed. Do not wring or twist the fabric harshly. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water.
After Use and Drying
- After wearing, hang your dhoti in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods as it may cause fading. Do not use a dryer as high heat can damage the cotton fibers and shrink the garment.
Ironing Instructions
- Iron your cotton dhoti while it is still slightly damp for best results. Use a medium heat setting on your iron. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric to protect any printed or embroidered designs. Use smooth, gentle strokes and avoid pressing too hard. Pay special attention to pleats and creases to maintain their shape.
Storage
- Store your dhoti in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Fold it neatly or hang it on a padded hanger to prevent wrinkles and maintain its quality for years to come.
