Terracotta Orange Stripe & Multicolour Border White Cotton Dhoti (10 × 6) with Matching Uparana
Product Description
Among all white dhotis, this one runs the warmest. The terracotta orange centre stripe — a deep, sun-baked tone between burnt orange and rust — gives this dhoti its identity from the first glance. It is bold without being loud, warm without being heavy. The kind of colour that looks equally good in a temple courtyard or at a wedding mandap.
Flanking the terracotta stripe are two golden orange pin-lines — a lighter shade from the same warm family. The tone-on-tone effect keeps the pallu looking clean and intentional, not patchy or mismatched.
The border on this dhoti is wider and bolder than most — a generous band of multicolor stripes in tomato red, olive green, mustard yellow, mauve pink, and white. The stripes are thick enough to be seen clearly from a distance, which gives the dhoti a festive, celebratory energy that suits weddings, festivals, and special occasions perfectly.
The fabric is 100% pure cotton — fine, soft, and breathable. At 10×6 feet, it is larger than standard dhotis, giving you a full, comfortable drape in any traditional style. The matching uparana (khes) is included — put it on your shoulder and the look is complete.

Washing Instructions
Washing Instructions for Cotton Dhoti
- Separate your cotton dhoti from other garments before washing. Use cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Hand wash gently or use the delicate cycle on your washing machine. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals as they may damage the fabric and fade the colors.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all soap residue is removed. Do not wring or twist the fabric harshly. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water.
After Use and Drying
- After wearing, hang your dhoti in a well-ventilated area to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods as it may cause fading. Do not use a dryer as high heat can damage the cotton fibers and shrink the garment.
Ironing Instructions
- Iron your cotton dhoti while it is still slightly damp for best results. Use a medium heat setting on your iron. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric to protect any printed or embroidered designs. Use smooth, gentle strokes and avoid pressing too hard. Pay special attention to pleats and creases to maintain their shape.
Storage
- Store your dhoti in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Fold it neatly or hang it on a padded hanger to prevent wrinkles and maintain its quality for years to come.
